Summt is an app for training with your friends. This page explains what Summt keeps about you, who can see it, and how to delete it. Summt has no ads, doesn't track you across other apps or websites, and doesn't sell or share your information for advertising.
What Summt keeps
- Your account: the identifier Sign in with Apple gives Summt, the email address Apple shares (which can be a private relay address), the name you enter, and your time zone.
- What you make in Summt: your weekly plans, sessions, programs, routines, goals and checkpoints, what you did in each workout, your posts with their photos and videos, comments, and aura.
- Your crew: who you're connected to, crew requests you send and get, and your join code.
- Workout stats you choose to share: when you post a session recorded on Apple Watch, you can add its time, heart rate, calories and distance to the post.
- Your device: a push notification token, so Summt can tell you when your crew posts, comments or gives aura.
Apple Health
With your permission, Summt reads heart rate and active energy during a workout and saves the workout to Apple Health. Health data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. The only exception is the workout stats above, which reach Summt's servers only when you add them to a post. Summt never uses Health data for advertising, and never shares it with anyone but the crew you post to.
Who can see it
- Your crew (the people you're connected to) see your name, plans, sessions, goals, posts, comments and aura.
- People who comment on a post you can see appear by name in that thread, even if they aren't in your crew. That works both ways.
- Nobody else sees your content. Summt has no public profiles.
Who runs it
Summt is made by an independent developer in the United States. Summt uses these services to run:
- Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in, hosted in the United States.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and push notifications.
- Fly.io and Cloudflare: this website, and email to the support address.
They process your information only to provide their service to Summt.
How long it's kept
Summt keeps your information while you have an account. When you delete your account, your content disappears from your crew's phones straight away, and everything is removed from Summt's servers within 30 days. Backups held by Summt's providers roll over within a further 30 days.
Deleting your account
In Summt, open your crew screen and tap Delete account. This deletes your profile, your posts, photos and videos, your comments and aura on other people's posts, your plans and programs, and your crew connections. It also revokes Summt's access to your Apple Account. If you can't get into the app, email support@summt.app from the address linked to your Apple Account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing support@summt.app. Summt answers within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law (for example the GDPR in the UK and EU, or state privacy laws in the US). Summt honours them for everyone.
Children
Summt isn't for anyone under 13, and doesn't knowingly keep information about them. If you think a child under 13 is using Summt, email support@summt.app and the account will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Summt will tell you in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
